The Spring Carnival is this Friday, March 23rd at 5:00 pm. It will be so much fun! We created a class art project that will be auctioned off during the carnival. It is very unique. You will have to stop by to see it for yourself in the library!
Our field trip is coming up on May 3rd. We will be going to the Elgin Tree farm for our study of plants. Look for information in your child's folder on Thursday. If you are planning on volunteering, which means chaperoning children other than your own, you must fill out the volunteer application form. We will be switching lunch times again with 4th grade next Tuesday, March 27th and Wednesday, March 28th due to STAAR testing. Please send in an extra snack for your child since we will be having lunch at 12:00. Since 4th and 5th graders will be testing, visitors will not be allowed on campus on those dates.
On April 2nd, there will be an ADHD presentation for parents in the library from 6:30 - 8:30. Advice and helpful information will be discussed.
These last 9 weeks of school will speed by! It is hard to believe that the year will soon be over. The students have certainly matured since the beginning of school.
